Following the expose of nine different Empire magazine covers for X-Men: Apocalypse, Fox has launched a few more pictures from the future summary to the new X-Men trilogy, presenting another look at Ben Hardy’s Angel, Oscar Isaac’s En Sabah Nur (aka the titular Apocalypse) and some new outfits for the brave mutant team.
Empire exposed the new pictures from Bryan Singer’s follow up, the first of featuring a pre-Archangel edition of Angel growing his pizza in the Berlin battle team field that’s been teased in set images and trailer. Next is Oscar Isaac’s impressive new bad guy — well, not entirely new, as he’s an ancient baddie who may be the very first mutant to ever move our planet. Apocalypse uses his wide capabilities to increase the skills of his Four Horsemen, such as Angel, Michael Fassbender’s Magneto, Alexandra Shipp’s Storm and Olivia Munn’s Psylocke.
Last but not least there’s a still of Sophie Turner’s Jean Grey with Kodi Smit-McPhee’s Nightcrawler, the two showing off the X-Men team’s new, heavy-duty outfits, which don’t look particularly simple to move around in.
The movie also features coming back cast associates Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters and Rose Byrne, reprising her part from First Category. They’re signed up with by beginners Tye Sheridan as Cyclops and Lana Condor as Jubilee. X-Men: Apocalypse strikes cinemas on May 27.
